Print and eBook Formatter Ally Books an imprint of ETA Publishing House LLP is seeking an experienced print and eBook Formatter to work with its production team. This person will work as a telecommuting, independent contractor for this Bristol based company. Interested candidates must have InDesign and Photoshop experience. Must be detail oriented, and able to work with a sense of urgency to get the job done. Creative design in both print and eBook formatting.
Overview of responsibilities 1. Create, apply, and/or adapt templates for the interior layout & design. 2. Create a PDF galley for proofreading and advanced reader copies. Make all required changes after the proofreading process. 3. Insert content, apply styles, add images, and then output a print-ready PDF. Once a print-ready version is complete, an ePub version will be made based on the required template, as well as other necessary ARC formats. 4. Set up and run preflight on all Adobe InDesign book projects.
